3

You must provide spouse and dependent SSNs and ensure each dependent NAME is the same as on the SSN CARD.

4

For self-employment income, you must provide documentation of income, such as 1099-NEC, and tabulated expenses when dropping off. Volunteers will not tabulate expenses from invoices.

Please do not call to check the status of your return, as this delays everyone’s return.

Provide a legible phone number, clear your messages, and we will contact you. We cannot leave a message if your message box is full and making multiple attempts to contact you will delay everyone’s tax return.

Received an IRS IP PIN?

If the IRS has ever flagged your identity, a new IP PIN is issued every January and must be included when you file.

Missing it can quietly delay your return.

Had low-cost health insurance?

If your coverage was through Marketplace Insurance, you’ll need Form 1095-A to avoid filing delays.

This is one of the most commonly missed tax forms.
